While at Coláiste Mhuigheo students stay in houses in the local area which are approved by Roinn na Gaeltachta. Students stay in this house with a bean an tigh. The houses are situated in the areas of Portacloy, Ceathrú na gCloch, and Corran Buí. Students travel to and from these areas by bus each day.
Here are some quick points of info about the accommodation :
- Every effort is made to accommodate friends together in Guest House when requested on application form.
- Requests for special diets to the Coláiste or bean an tigh will be discussed with parents and accommodated within reason.
- The Coláiste reserves the right of final placement of students.

Friends can stay in the same house accommodation.
In order to encourage students to mix and mingle with other students (not just from their own school) there will be a limit on students from the same school staying together. The names of friends should ideally match on the application forms. Coláiste Mhuigheo reserves the right to accommodate students, in the best interests of all the applicants.
